Scout Group Trustees
Buckinghamshire Scout County
Scouting offers opportunities for young people to experience fun and adventure whilst developing their potential. Scout Groups in Buckinghamshire require a number of charity trustees to assist with the effective running of the Groups. Roles are available for: Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Committee Members
The trustee group is responsible for making sure the Scout Group is administered properly, and that funds, budgets and other items are planned for. The roles of Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and Committee Member perform different functions but all contribute to a cause that greatly benefits young people. Committees meet a few times a year and most other activities can be undertaken by phone or email.
Scouting experience is not required and a full induction will be provided. Some specific skills will be helpful - book keeping or accountancy skills for the Treasurer role, for example. However, we welcome a wide range of applicants and will provide support and training where necessary.
