‘Don’t Be That Someone’ (DBTS) is an innovative multi-media campaign designed to reach a wide audience and make a difference to young people’s driving education. In addressing the causes and consequences of drink driving, the campaign aims to:
• Raise Awareness
• Change Attitudes
• Reduce Casualties.
DBTS has received funding from many Local Authorities and third sector organisations, and has already received interest from various Local Authorities, Youth Offending Teams and Fire Services with the intention of having the campaign delivered as part of their programmes.
DBTS is expanding so to make the campaign more sustainable, effective and powerful, we are currently looking to recruit more committee members.

Basic commitment:
• Determine Mission and Strategy – actively take part in setting the organisation’s direction and determining how it will get there though the annual planning process and the business plan/strategic plan.
• Attend meetings.
• Emails and phone calls between meetings (1-2 hrs fortnightly).
• Raise awareness of DBTS and network whenever possible.
• Participate in one or more DBTS events/displays every year.
Payment -
This role is unpaid. Can claim travel at 40p per mile and parking and expenses can be reimbursed, with claim form and receipts.
