REACH volunteering

REACH matches the skills of experienced people to the needs of voluntary organisations.

REACH's aims are to recruit and support people with managerial, professional, business and technical experience and match them with part-time voluntary roles throughout the UK, and to help voluntary organisations gain access to these potential volunteers and benefit fully from their expertise.

They support voluntary organisations and charities across the UK, helping them attract volunteers with a wide range of skills and professional experience. Any voluntary group offering benefit to the community can take advantage of the experience of REACH volunteers - it doesn't have to be a charity, although many are. REACH supports a cross-section of the UK voluntary sector, from large national charities to small grass-roots community groups.

Anyone wanting to make use of his or her skills and experience as a volunteer may register with REACH. People of all ages and backgrounds are placed in organisations near where they live - it's not just retired professionals. There are no age limits and there is no charge for the service.

Volunteering opportunities don't have to be long term, you could have a volunteer to do a short piece of work that takes a couple of days or, you might even find a new trustee.
