LawWorks - free legal advice

LawWorks is an independent charity that aims to increase the delivery of free legal advice to individuals and communities in need.  It does this by supporting, promoting and encouraging a commitment to pro bono legal advice across the legal profession

The LawWorks for Community Groups project acts as a broker between small charities, community groups and social enterprises and lawyers willing to provide their services for free. Groups can apply using the online application form (http://lawworks.org.uk/). The team at LawWorks will review the application and help to clarify the advice required. If the application is approved, they will then try and match the group with a volunteer lawyer who provides the legal advice for free.

LawWorks can help with business law issues such as: company law, employment, intellectual property, property law, charity, tax, contract and many more.  They cannot deal with criminal, family or immigration matters.
