CTN has developed a practical resource to help charities introduce, develop and use codes of conduct for trustees which are appropriate for their own organisations. Codes of conduct are a useful way of trying to avoid problems on the board, and to help address them when they do arise, without things getting personal. The booklet includes example codes of conduct, useful tools, signposting to other resources and case studies demonstrating how other charities have used codes of conduct. Copies of the booklet are available to download below. Hard copies are also available to buy from CTN for £6 plus post and packaging (email info@trusteenet.org.uk).
