Website for projects seeking funding

The Big Give is a new website onto which charities can post projects seeking funding.  Established by Alec Reed, founder of Reed Recruitment Group, it provides a forum for charities and funders to find each other and start potentially fruitful discussions.  The idea is that big wealth donors will use the site to find, shortlist and eventually projects in their area of interest. 

As their blog says, many donors do not want reams of complex application information.  They want a simple explanation of a project along with a little background material to start the discussion.
