Charity Commission Direct is the new single point of contact for all enquiries and requests for services coming into the Charity Commission. It was launched earlier this year and aims to ensure enquiries are fast tracked to the right place first time and to deal with priority requests more quickly. The Charity Commission is also trialling some new Knowledge Base software to help you to find the answer to your enquiry, which provides answers to the most frequently asked questions raised. Click here to use the Knowledge Base.
The Knowledge Base is easy to use. All you do is select a Topic from the drop down menu above or insert a Key Word(s) in the relevant box and then click on the search button. You will then be presented with a range of questions and answers that may well answer your enquiry.
Just review the list of questions presented and click on the relevant one or ones to view the answer.
Of course, should the knowledge base be unable to provide you with a suitable answer you will still be able to submit an email enquiry to the Commission by clicking on the Contact Us button. In this event this new software will assist us by ensuring that the response we give you is both timely and appropriate.
You will, also, be able to track your enquiry and access any previous email correspondence you have had with us by clicking on the My Stuff button. In addition we will add the response we give you to our knowledge base so that any future customer with the same enquiry will be able to resolve it on line.
Finally we would like your feedback as to whether you have found the new software easy to use and of value. This will only take a few seconds - click on the feedback button to let us have your thoughts. The feedback you give will be used to evalate the success of the trial.
