Book your place now at our York lunch and lecture

CTN is delighted to be able to invite you to a lunch and lecture at York Racecourse on 9th November. The lecture will be delivered by Julia Unwin, Director of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and former Charity Commissioner. She will be drawing on her depth of experience with charities to identify the questions that trustees should ask to help them become more effective in their governance role.

In addition to the lecture, and an excellent seated lunch, there will be seminars available on -
• investments and money
• trusteeship, and
• the Charities Act 2006

The event is free for members of trusteenetplus, CTN’s membership package designed to address the key concerns of trustees, so we’d encourage you to consider joining for just £40 a year. Or, you can attend the lunch and lecture for just £20 or with the seminars for £25.

To subscribe to trusteenetplus and get free entry to the event, along with all the other benefits the package offers, just click on the 'benefits at a glance' button on our news page. The membership package offers:
• a year’s subscription to governance magazine
• safety-net individual trustee indemnity insurance, which covers legal defence costs
• free or discounted entry to CTN events and seminars for trustees

All this for just £40 a year.

A downloadable booking form for the event, with full details of speakers, seminars and prices is attached below. This form will need to be completed whether you are coming as a trusteenetplus member or not.

The day is generously supported by CCLA, and the venue is fully accessible.

We look forward to seeing you in York.
