In my experience most charities are Companies Limited by Guarantee, which then get registration with the Charity Comm. I heard another model was being introduced (?by the 2006 Act). But now i have heard another (?) model has been available for at least three years, a CIS or CSI or something.
Can anyone enlighten me as I have been asked to advise an association which wants to become a registered charity.
