It was absolutely fantastic to meet so many trustees from so many different organisations last week at the Ctn/CCLA "Questions Trustees should ask ... " event at York Racecourse. There was a real buzz in the air as people met each other in the networking times, and a huge amount of interest and engagement in the workshop sessions.
There were a lot of conversations about specific issues, which we just didn't have time to find all the answers to - and really our role wasn't to do that but to put people in touch with each other so that they can share experiences and hopefully help each other to find ways through difficult situations.
If anyone wants to continue some of these conversations, why not do it here, or post your question/situation on another specific part of the forum? And you don't have to have the complete answer to respond - if you've got ideas or experience of your own, that's likely to be just as helpful, so please share it with others.
note - to start a new forum topic/conversation, you have to go into one of the heading areas ('governance' or 'trustees') where you'll find the option to start a new topic.
