CEO's first appraisal - new Chair/new to appraisals

Although a trustee for 3 years and seeing the charity come through a very difficult time I am now Chair. Our CEO is also relatively new to her role, just over a year, and she has a further 3 years on her contract.

I believe our relationship is good and I really want the appraisal to be valuable and would appreciate any good advice.
