Trustee Induction and Refresher Training Course - London

Event runs between 08:30 and 13:00

This course by Blake Lapthorn, charity lawyer services and is aimed at getting new trustees up to speed in understanding their role, whilst also providing a useful refresher for existing trustees.

Charities are expected to report on their efforts to ensure that all trustees are trained and inducted to fulfill their role. The half day course is designed to assist your charity in complying with best practice to induct and refresh trustees, so that they can make a full contribution as a trustee of your charity.

Trustees must know and understand:

  • their role in your charity
  • their legal and ethical responsibilities
  • that they are accountable for their actions

The course will also provide an opportunity for you to network with other trustees and share information with other organisations in order to develop new perspectives and insights into the running of your organisation.
