Sustainable Funding - An Introductory Workshop - Richmond, Surrey

Event runs between 08:45 and 15:00

Facing New Funding Challenges? Perhaps now is the time to find out more about sustainable funding! This workshop is aimed at frontline organisations and focuses on the early stages of the learning curve – it seeks to give people the awareness, understanding, enthusiasm and information to think further about their funding options.

The aim of the course is to encourage voluntary and community organisations to explore a diverse income mix. The workshop has been designed by NCVO Sustainable Funding Project as an overview of sustainable funding, with a particular emphasis on generating income from trading goods and services. It will not provide information on sources of funds.
The workshop will cover the following themes:

  • An introduction to the theme of sustainable funding
  • An introduction to full-cost recovery and analysis
  • An introduction to the principles of generating income through contractual work and trading goods and services
  • An introduction to loan finance

A mix of presentations, small group work and open discussion is used. This workshop is suitable for fundraisers, managers, trustees and those engaged with planning a fundraising strategy. Organisations can send up to two delegates.

There are  limited number of places on these workshops so early booking is recommended (BOOKING ESSENTIAL). For further details please contact Julie Ward, Sustainable Funding Adviser RCVS, juliew@richmondcvs.org.uk or telephone RCVS on 020 8255 8500
