Proving and Improving Our Worth - London

In partnership with HSBC, the Centre for Charity Effectiveness is delighted to present Charity Talks 2010/2011. The talks are aimed at voluntary organistation staff, trustees and others who want to improve their effectivenessthrough listening and responding to presentations on key management issues. Each talk will be chaired by Professor Ian Bruce, CBE, and will consist of four parts:

  • Presentation - by leading figure in the sector, of a current key issue facing voluntary sector managers.
  • Response - from a top academic or consultant broadening out the topic to develop the issues and offering guidance for action.
  • Discussion - an opportunity for the audience to question, debate and share ideas with leaders from the charity world.
  • Buffet reception - a chance to meet and talk with the speakers and colleagues from other voluntary and community organisations.
