Practical Trusteeship Conference - London

Charity Trustee Networks (CTN) and the Directory of Social Change (DSC) are running a conference for trustees (and the people who work with them) designed to help the deal with some of the practical issues they face in their role.

There are a range of workshops on practical subjects, including:

• Finding and keeping new trustees
• Dealing with issues on the board
• Making sure you've got the right insurance
• Communicating your organisation's message effectively

 As with all events that CTN is involved in there will be lots of opportunities to network and learn from the experience of other trustees.

• Andrew Hind, Chief Executive of the Charity Commission, will share his experiences of being a trustee
• Karen Heenan, Chief Executive of CTN, and Debra Allcock Tyler, Chief Executive of DSC will also be sharing their experiences of trusteeship
• Space for you to discuss issues of concern to you with other trustees
• Networking drinks reception at the end of the day
