This two-day residential programme by ACEVO is designed for senior managers for whom the role of chief executive is the next chosen career step. This is a highly participative programme, is run by the Centre for Charity Effectiveness and has been designed to provide an introduction to the knowledge and skills required to be an effective chief executive in the voluntary and community sector. The purpose of the programme is to provide a structured introduction to the crucial challenges of leadership and management, exploring theory and its application in practice.
