Fundraising - An Introduction to Raising Money from Charitable Trusts - Guildford

This course will equip participants with an understanding of the financial information published by trusts. Given the current economic climate any additional support in raising funds will help you make a difference to your organisation.  The course will look at the origin of the trust, how this influences its current giving policy and how trusts make decisions.

  • Details the main types of charitable trusts and establish where funds are derived from
  • Explain how trusts make decisions
  • Indicate how the origin of the trust will influence its current giving policy
  • Understand the financial context for the trust and realise how this will impact upon their giving
  • Identify the key decision-makers in the trusts that you are approaching
