This introductory workshop will give an overview of best practice in relation to the trustees’ annual report to their public (beneficiaries and funders) as well as their responsibilities with regard to fundraising (the law, trading, tax). It will focus on how trustees can prepare to capture and present evidence in the annual report. It will also include a brief exploration of measuring the impact and public benefit of your work as well as the legal requirements for trustees’ reports (disclosure, governance, accountability and transparency).
