In partnership with HSBC Global Asset Management, the Centre for Charity Effectiveness is presenting Charity Talks 2008/2009 aimed at voluntary organisation staff, trustees and others interested in key management issues.

Mahmood Hassan, Founder and Chairman of Islamic Aid is an expert in direct marketing with a particular interest in Muslim consumer direct marketing. mahmood Hassan founded Islamic Aid with an investment of £6000, and has since recruited over 54,000 donors and raised over £12 million.  This is a story with lessons for any charity, but especially medium sized and smaller ones.
