LawWorks is the operating name of the Solicitors Pro Bono Group (SPBG) - an independent charity with a mission to support, promote and encourage a commitment to pro bono across the solicitors' profession. LawWorks aims to increase the delivery of free legal advice to individuals and communities in need. It uses volunteer solicitors to do this in a variety of ways, including the provision of advice through email.
trusteenetplus members can enter the details of a legal question on Employment, Data Protection, Company or Intellectual Property via a link on our webpage. The LawWorks system will then try and find a lawyer to answer the question. You will receive a response within ten working days.
If it is not possible to answer your question, you will be directed to an alternative source of help and / or information, or advised to make an application to the Community Groups project. Your question has to provide enough information for a lawyer to be able to answer it but without it being too lengthy. The service is designed to provide answers to simple legal questions of a general nature and is not able to advise on specific situations.
