Closed - Office for Civil Society consultation on the future of infrastructure support

The Office for Civil Society has launched an important consultation on the future of infrastructure support to the sector.

At the heart of the consultation is the recognition that citizens, communities and the voluntary sector will need support to achieve empowerment, open up public services, and promote social action. The consultation seeks views on ways of achieving easier access to and better connections between infrastructure support in localities.

There are a number of ways to respond to the consultation, which are detailed in the below consultation documents.

The deadline for responses to the Cabinet Office is 6th January 2011, but please note that if you wish to respond to Question 9: 'How can central Government best work with national infrastructure to support and deliver the Big Society?' you must do so by November 25, 2010.
