Well I am new at this and I am finding it hard. My first meeting was really interesting, but I didn't feel able to say much as the others all seem to know much more than me about the organisation. I guess I'd better get the hang of the operational side of the organisation pretty quickly. Also lots of TLAs - the classic three letter acronyms - that threw me completely. I didn't want to keep asking what on earth they were talking about!
The minutes will be interesting - I don't know how someone manages to capture such wide-ranging discussion.
