Setting up a Trustee network - next steps 25/03/10

Since my last entry I have spoken to the third infrastructure organisation and met with Nottingham CVS. My next steps are to arrange the first meeting: the room and speakers who will be trustees from local charities. I need to get a free room and refreshments. The network has been mentioned in the CTN newsletter and this resulted in one expression of interest. I have also spoken to my colleagues on the trustee board and they expressed their support for the idea. Via CTN I was alerted to the fact that Mansfield CVS have some funding to support a Nottinghamshire trustee network. I received an email from their Chief Exec, Alan Lloyd. Have tried to ring him twice but have not spoken to him yet. Apparently Mansfield CVS have organised a Nottingham Trustee Network meeting for 26th March. It is published on this site but I have not heard about it from any other sources, so I wonder if it is going ahead.
