Chair Required for Kazzum's Board of Trustees

Kazzum Arts Project Ltd. seeks a person with skills and experience at senior management / board level to serve as Chair of its Board of Trustees.

In its 19th year, Kazzum creates playful theatre and participative arts activities for young people, using art forms that reflect international influences. The work embraces the beliefs emotions and creativity of its audience.

The Chair’s Role is to:
• Lead and be the spokesperson of the Board keeping closely in touch with Kazzum and its activities.
• Guide and counsel the Senior Management Team
• Lead the team of Board Members
• Chair Meetings
• Advocate the company to its stakeholders

Attendance and Availability:
• Monthly one-to-one meetings with the Senior Management Team and providing advice and support to the Senior Management Team, either by telephone or in person, as required.
• All Board meetings (currently quarterly) or any “emergency” meetings, and at all Annual General Meetings
• Performances by the Company and other key events run by Kazzum, notably promotional events
• At sub-committee meetings if a member
